I am a comic artist and Illustrator. I work drawing pretty pictures somewhere in the far deserted land of the descending Gods. This blog contains mostly sketches, corgis, Dr. Who, Xena, Rizzoli & Isles, art, Dinosaurs, monsters, more comics, pretty ladies, kittens, weird things and general fun stuff.
I dreamed I walked trough a very old colonial church. As I walked by, I heard mewling sounds, “mew, mew mew” echoing trough the courtyard. I followed the sound and found a box with kittens, 28 of them. Every single one had spots and splatters trough their backs and heads resembling letters and shapes. As I got closer they moved their tiny bodies to write the word “Hello” in big, splotchy letters. All of the little creatures participated in this form of communication, and I was thrilled.
"Hello… why are you here? Why are you alone?"
They moved their bodies to answer again.
"For the same reason you are alone" - They wrote.
I was taken aback.
"Well, aren’t you guys rude. I came here with someone, but I think she went off to explore other things." I started to grow annoyed at their mean remarks.
"Isn’t it always like that?" - they seemed to enjoy making me uncomfortable.
"No. This time is different. Besides, you were left here alone by someone who thought you would be a nuisance." -my voice started to gain that high pitch that marked the limits of my patience.
"Rejection is rejection. You were forgotten. We were left here to die." -the letters squirmed, as if they were laughing.
"But I came here to help you"
"So did we"
"I don’t want to be left alone again" -I began tearing up.
"At the end of the day, all you have left are words. Like us. Like you." They said.
I took the box and carried them with me.
"But you know, words like you make magnificent stories"
